TWgroup appoints new Cruise Editor
Jane Archer becomes TWgroup's new Cruise Editor
Jane Archer has been appointed as TWgroup's new Cruise Editor. Jane, a well-known industry figure, has been covering cruise for Travel Weekly and the Telegraph group for many years.
Former assistant editor at Travel Weekly, Jane has developed her specialist cruise knowledge over a long period. She spends a good deal of her working life on board ships throughout the world and offers unrivalled insights into this burgeoning area of travel.
In her capacity as TW Cruise Editor, Jane will provide weekly coverage of cruise in Travel Weekly and on www.travelweekly.co.uk, and will direct further news coverage among the Travel Weekly news team, helping them to keep abreast of major developments. She will also advise the team on key events to attend if she is unable to make them herself.
Jane will be responsible for Travel Weekly's cruise features and quarterly cruise magazine, TW Cruise. working in tendem with Travel Weekly's features editor Karl Cushing, and has a cruise blog (www.travelweekly.co.uk/cruiselines). It is updated regularly so be sure to log in frequently. It is designed to give you yet more cruise news and views from her personal perspective.
Jane is also helping steer development of TWgroup's unique Search2Cruise online service for travel agents. This will soon be incorporated in TWgroup's subscription service Gazetteers, the must-have daily tool filled with hotel, resort and tour tips to help travel agents best serve their clients. Gazetteers has circa 5 million users per month (trial it on www.gazetteers.com).
